Growing up between the United States and China gave me an early appreciation for how different cultures see and interpret the world, and while my travels to over 15 countries have continuously expanded my understanding of human connection across diverse communities. My experience in business and UX design has taught me the power of empathy - the ability to understand other people’s stories. This empathetic approach forms the foundation of my photography, whether I'm capturing spontaneous moments on busy city streets, the electric energy of live performances, or the quiet intimacy of a portrait session. Every frame I create is an opportunity to bridge understanding between the viewer and the subject, to reveal the universal emotions that connect us all despite our different cultural backgrounds.
